Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Aforeworn. By subscribing to or using the service, you agree to them.
Decision-support, not legal advice. Aforeworn monitors public rules and explains likely impact so you can act quickly. Our alerts, summaries, and projections are informational decision-support only — they are not legal, tax, or compliance advice and are not a guarantee of completeness or accuracy. Always confirm against the official source and your own advisers before you act.
The service
Aforeworn continuously monitors official sources for the niches you select, detects changes, and sends alerts describing what changed, who it affects, and suggested next steps. We work hard to be accurate and timely, but sources can be delayed, incomplete, or change without notice, and detection is inherently best-effort.
Your account
You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. Sign-in uses a one-time email link; keep access to your email secure. Don’t misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape or resell its content except as your plan expressly allows.
Billing
- Free trial. Plans start with a 14-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you won’t be charged.
- Payment methods. You can pay by card (processed by our payment provider) or by prepaying annually in USDC (an on-chain stablecoin).
- Billing periods & discounts. Plans are billed monthly or annually. Annual billing saves 20% by card, or 25% when you prepay in USDC. Discounts do not stack.
- Renewals. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Fees. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, including USDC annual prepayments.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy or completeness of alerts. You use the service at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aforeworn is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any fines, penalties, or losses arising from reliance on an alert or from a change we did not detect or report. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we’ll let subscribers know by email or in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
